How much does it cost to use a travel agent to book my vacation?
The answer to that is "nothing". Travel agents are paid by commission provided by the vendor or supplier of the travel package purchased. Those prices are the same whether you make the reservations yourself or through a travel agent. The reason for this is travel agents, like insurance agents or real estate agents, tend to prefer specific brands and this is beneficial to the supplier. They therefore wish to provide incentives to the agents to "sell" their brand and this is done in the form of commissions.

How can a travel agent compete with online entities like Travelocity, Expedia, or Orbitz.
Travel agents have the ability to search all vendors to your desired vacation package. It does not matter if it is a all-inclusive trip to an island resort or simple airline tickets from one place to another. Online services like those mentioned search only the vendors who pay to be offered on their sites. This limits the opportunities for the consumer. In addition, these online agencies charge fees you may not know about. Test it for yourself. Do a request for an airline ticket between two locations from one of the online services. Then once you make your selection go directly to the website of the airline you chose. Run a request for the same flight and you will see that the online service is $20.00 (minimum) more than the airline. This is because most airlines no longer pay commission so some agencies charge fees to make up for the loss. Many travel agents do not charge this fee or charge a fee that is smaller thus saving the consumer money.

Do I need a passport when taking a cruise or traveling to a foreign country?
Rules change from place to place but the answer I give to all our customers is it is better to be safe then sorry. Get yourself a passport, especially if you plan on traveling frequently. There not expensive and they can save you alot of money in the long run. Because if you book a cruise that requires one and on the day of departure you show up with out one, you don't go, but you still pay.

What is there to do in Orlando beside the theme parks?
Orlando is a very diversified location. Besides the wide range of theme parks (Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld)there are numerous smaller attractions (Gatorland, Wet-n-Wild, etc). But the gem of the "entertainment strip" are the many dinner shows (Medieval Times, Arabian Nights, Dixie Stampede, Pirates, Sleuth's and more). A trip to Orlando/Kissimmee with out a visit to one of these fabulous locations is not complete.

I want to take a vacation to Hawaii, but there is so many choices I don't no where to start?
First of all that is why you have a travel agent. We are here to help you sort through all those choices to find what fits your desires. A trip to one or more of the Hawaiian Islands, for most people, is a once in a life time event. If that is so then you should make that trip a memory of a life time. That is why I recommend Prince Resorts Hawaii. Four luxury properties on three islands that provide the full spectrum of services. The staff at all the Prince Resorts Hawaii have one goal in mind and that is your visit with them will be that "memory of a life time".

I want to stay on "the strip" in Las Vegas where should I stay?
Like Hawaii and Orlando, Las Vegas has so many options that every desire can be fulfilled. However, MGM/Mirage properties offer the best opportunity for the special occasion we are all searching for. The five properties in the brand are the Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, MGM Grand, Mirage and Treasure Island. I always suggest you seek out the services of a travel agent when planning such a trip. You will be making a significant investment and why not utilize the "free" services of a professional travel agent. You will be glad you did.
